SPEAKERS

Pastor Peace Lee:

Peace is a preacher and spiritual director who is mesmerized by the power of language. A double PK/MK, she grew up in Korea, Philippines, Taiwan, and the US and peaked very early at the age of 8 when she once spoke four different languages. A literature major, she loves words - written, spoken, signed, sung, rapped, or preached. She is currently a doctoral student in preaching and theology at Duke, where she serves as research and teaching assistant and manages a dream project in which she gets paid to listen to sermons! She is married to her first boyfriend turned husband YP, a photographer, and they love road trips, long meals, poetry, and sunrises.

Before moving to the south, Peace worked as a youth pastor and test prep instructor in New Jersey while studying at Princeton Seminary, where she earned her M.Div and M.A .in Spiritual Formation. She has also worked in various nonprofits that seek to empower young people, including PeaceJam. She is passionate about nurturing youth leaders in the church and longs to see more young people responding to the call of preaching and living out the gospel.

Pastor Sam Lee

I made a decision to follow Jesus Christ in high school, a decision for which I am thankful everyday of my life. I went to Kenya, East Africa to do missions with the poor after seminary. While there, God burned in me the vision to train up disciples that will work together to break the boundaries in their own community and beyond. I am abundantly blessed with a house full of godly women: my partner and better half HeeJung and our four daughters. They are gifts from God reminding me daily of God’s joy and kindness.

Pastor Faith Cho

Pastor Faith Cho ministers alongside her husband, David at The River in Wayne, NJ. They were college sweethearts and together raise four beautiful children: Moriah, Elias, River, and Adalynn. When Pastor Faith is not preaching, writing, or running a household of six, you can find her enjoying a flat white, reading to be inspired, and laughing at her husband’s jokes.

She believes in the merciful love of the Father, the redeeming power of Jesus Christ, and the supernatural work of the Holy Spirit.
